This is the Day the Lord Has Made

What a day! I stuck to my one hour of TV (American Idol, heellllooo!)and it made such a huge difference in my outlook. I actually started my day reading the Word! Wow. It was pretty cool. I took Charlie for a walk and enjoyed the beauty of a spring dusk. Nothing like some fresh air. I love the smell of freshly cut grass...invigorating! Then after Taryn's bath I held her in my arms and prayed over her as I rocked her. Such a tender moment and I can't help but wonder how many of these I'm missing because I'm too enthralled in the boob tube! Anyway, it was a good day. I just pray that I continue to keep the TV shut off. Maybe I could challenge someone else to try it also. Or maybe I'm the only loser who has this problem. Oh well. Love to all!!!

Could be that it runs in the family? Remember Jason's T.V. fast during the tornado? 40 whole days with NO T.V. That's why I love this man :).

Man give up T.V.???? I don't know! It's my only mind numbing getaway from a "Sally May" day!! :)
Although I think Sally could use a little of the Word when she's feeling ragged from the day rather then the boob tube!
Gotta hook up soon, I love the coo stage of babies!!!

I'm a little sad I didn't get a mention on your Tuesday =)
Anyway, don't feel too guilty, get all stressed and feel like a failure and give up on your goal if you don't make your goal of an hour or less of T.V. a day! It's easy (for ME anyway) to quit trying after I "slipped" on a goal I had set for myself. Take Smoking for example. =)
And HELLO, we live in the coldest state ever, our entertainment options are limited here in the Winter.
Wow, sounds like I'm justifying watching T.V. =)
Anyway, if you're about to turn on the T.V. or can't shut it off, just call me and I'll walk you through it.
Maybe I could call you every time I need a smoke? =)
love ya, auntie ang
